Hello Yoga Mamas and Papas (Grandmas and Grandpas or other caregivers welcome too!). This is an outdoor class inspired by a group of women in Colorado who created a studio practice around the idea of doing yoga with their kids. We start with core work, some standing postures and then hit the corridor for a 30 minute brisk walk or jog (can be done at your own pace). We'll meet back at the park for a cool-down. Bring your own mat or towel for the grass. All ages of children are welcome, but it is expected that if your kid moves, you'll be the one to chase them! Class fee: Donations.
The One-Hour Practice (beginning Fall 2010)
Perfect for the beginner who's never taken a yoga class, or the intermediate student looking to develop their practice. This mixed-level class will be held weekly. Each session we will explore the alignment of the poses, incorporate meditation and breathing techniques, as well as weave variations on sun salutations throughout the practice. Please bring your own mat, or pay a $1 mat rental fee. Drop-ins welcome, $12 a class or purchase a punch card for per class savings. Location and dates TBD.
Yoga for Cross-Country Skiers (8 weeks)
Yoga for Cross-Country Skiers is an 8 week course aimed at preparing the body for a cross-country skiing season. The course will use pre-yoga exercises and asanas to develop and enhance core muscles, including the psoas muscle. We will also cover techniques to stabilize the shoulder blades while bringing mobility to the upper thoracic part of the back. No previous experience with yoga is necessary. $95 per participant, please bring your own mat or rent one for $1 per class. Class size limited to 15 participants. Introductory Alignment Yoga Series (6 weeks)
Through the practice of yoga and meditation, we can learn how to exist comfortably in our body and experience less pain. This introductory series will emphasize the proper alignment in the postures. It will also introduce simple meditation techniques to help us find our authentic breath. Tuition: $55. Mat rental fee $1 per class. Check the calendar to see when this class is being offered next.
Intermediate Alignment Yoga Series (8 weeks)
The intermediate series is best for the intermediate to advanced yoga practitioner or those with significant experience in movement arts. This series will help broaden your understanding of the postures and breathing, and how to develop your personal practice at home. Tuition: $80. Please bring your own mat, other props will be supplied. Check the calendar for upcoming course dates.

Private Yoga Instruction
Private instruction allows for the instructor to help you develop a Hatha yoga program that is best-suited for your needs. It also is a great solution for those people that find it difficult to find the time to attend a series or other weekly class. $65 per session, please contact Charmaine Swan to discuss your needs and scheduling.
Yoga parties, group lessons

Yoga Punch Card
For those folks who would like to purchase bulk drop-in classes at a discounted rate, we sell a 5-class pass for $50. These punch cards are good for 1 year from the time of purchase. Please contact Charmaine Swan if you are interested in purchasing a punch card.
